At Pet Longevity, we don’t just explore the challenges pets face after neutering and spaying — we work to solve them. Through the Million Pet Study, we’re breaking new ground in veterinary research to uncover the solutions pets need to live longer, healthier, and happier lives.
The hormonal changes that occur after neutering and spaying—what we call “menopaws”—can lead to long-term health challenges, from metabolic disorders and joint issues to cognitive decline and behavioral changes. Despite the parallels with human conditions like menopause and andropause, veterinary science has lagged behind in addressing these critical issues. That’s where our work comes in.
Our research focuses on the transformative potential of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to restore balance, prevent disease, and enhance quality of life. By gathering robust data, testing innovative protocols, and collaborating with veterinarians worldwide, we’re developing practical, evidence-based tools that redefine what’s possible in pet care.
